Menambahkan ''library'' terlebih dahulu diperlukan agar ''compiler'' Arduino IDE mengenali perintah yang digunakan dalam program. Jika ''library'' belum ditambahkan, proses ''compiling'' akan gagal karena compiler tidak menemukan definisi fungsi atau variabel yang dipanggil di dalam kode.
